In the first clip, you see how a completely paralyzed man, who could otherwise only communicate by moving his eyes, uses his mind to type out thoughts on a computer screen. Signals from his motor cortex travel through wires to the computer, or to the robotic arm in the case of the monkey. The Russian car operates by remote. Blammo.
